xxxxxxxxxx Call for Boats Join Us on December 14th for the 10th Annual Holiday Boat Parade

The Rotary Club of Winter Park and the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens is seeking resident and business boat entries. For resident boats, there is no entry fee and all local licensed area boat owners are invited to participate. Boat registration is required with applications available by contacting or visit or call 407-647-6294.

A Ski show will be hosted at Rollins College on Lake Virginia prior to the the lighted boat parade begining at sundown (approximately 6 pm) on Lake Virginia on the eastern shore by Dinky Dock and proceeds to Lake Osceola.

The Winter Park Boat Parade and Festival of Lights is a fun, community wide water parade. Area families line the shores of the lakes to view the impressive creativity of neighbors and local business sponsors including Southeast Marine, Scenic Boat Tour, Fannie Hillman & Associates, The Polasek, and the City of Winter Park. To date, approximately 60 boats have participated in previous parades.

The Polasek Museum will host the official judging station for the Parade and will have music, food, wine and parking beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Polasek Gardens. Dinky Dock off Fairbanks Avenue is another viewing area for the parade with the Lake Osceola parade beginning at sundown. Donations for parking and other event proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Winter Park Foundation and the Polasek Musuem and Sculpture Gardens.
